It was a weekend in Prague with Mama this week. She came to London for work and play. We’d work all day and walk, chat, eat all night. It reminded me a lot of our Paris days many summers ago.
Praha had the potential to be a bit of a disaster. Mostly because of me and my absentmindedness. On Friday I took us to the wrong airport! There are four of them in London, all going to the same destinations! Yeesh. We went to Gatwick instead of Heathrow. I couldn’t even believe it. Mum looked like she was ready to kill me and I could not believe I could have been SO stupid! I ended up buying is new flights that left early the next morning. When Mom decided that she was talking to me again, it turned out to be an OK evening.
Saturday morning we were off bright and early. Praha is gorgeous. I can describe it as a child’s birthday cake on steroids. It’s colourful, whimsical, like it came right out of a fairytale. We took a day tour so that we could cover everything in the little time that we had. It is such a fun city to photograph, especially from the clock tower. =)
Another city down in the list of millions of places to see in this great big world!
Thanks Mama! For the company, the patience and the girly time away. I’ve missed it.
