Today was a happy Monday. I woke up feeling so cheery, I can’t even believe it. I’m thinking it’s partly hormonal. But seriously, I woke up feeling so refreshed and happy that I had to keep myself from dancing on the tube ride to work. I plugged myself into Mariah Carey, got on my brown leather boots and was excited about my day! Amazing!
I’m overall excited about a whole lot of things! I’m going to Cairo on Wednesday! Africa for the first time ever! How lucky am I? And then I started planning a round-the-world ticket back home from Europe where I stop through most of the places I haven’t yet seen in Asia. AND I had a great French lesson today. And I’m excited about a bunch of personal projects that I’m working on. And I went and got new shoes this weekend. And and and…. lots of really great, fun things going on.
I think happiness is mostly a mindset and I’ve been down in the dumps over some really stupid things. I’ve decided that I’m tired of doing that and I need to start relishing each new day that I have here. There is so much to see and do and experience and I need to get started on doing all that again!
