This weekend we celebrated Cyn's birthday in Lake Como.  In the beautiful ancient village of Varenna, we rang in a new year of promised success, happiness and adventure. 

As she celebrated another year, I celebrated the blessed gift of her friendship.  In Cynthia, I've found a soulmate.  We met at work. I reached out to her when A and I broke up.  She was there.  Sending me uplifting emails, talking me through tea, answering my phone calls at 4am when the loneliness became unbearable.  And since then, we've been inseperable.  She has been my rock, my shield, my confidante, my number one fan.  She has been my true love.  And on this birthday, through the silly laughs, inside jokes and abnoxious behaviour, I celebrate the gift of her amazing love in my life.
